Easy Baked Fish Fillets
(serves four)


1&1/2 pound mild flavor, medium texture fish fillets (cod, tilapia, grouper)
1&1/2 tablespoon mayonnaise
1&1/2 tablespoon lemon or lime juice
1/8th teaspoon onion powder
1/8th teaspoon ground black pepper
A pinch of salt
1/2 cup of fresh bread crumbs
1&1/2 tablespoon of melted butter or margarine
2 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional)


Mix mayonnaise, lemon or lime juice, onion powder, pepper, and salt.
Spread mixture on top of fish fillets.
Top with bread crumbs.
Drizzle the melted butter or margarine over the fillets.
Bake in an oven pre-heated to 425 for 15 to 20 minutes, until the fillets are opaque and will flake.
If desired, top with chopped parsley before serving.
